5500 Jefferson is a wholesale adaptive reuse project transforming a former prop storage warehouse space into a cutting edge hardware testing facility for an undisclosed tech industry client. The facility features authentic refurbished redwood sawtooth roofing, exposed trusses, in addition to a completely modernized 1940’s hydraulic elevator with visible working componentry. This highly bespoke renovation with a wealth of indoor/outdoor amenities captures the original structure’s mechanical charm, while offering the infrastructure and ergonomics demanded by industry leading users with highly demanding security and technical requirements.
